TrueTones: Beatles and the British Invasion performance
The British Invasion was an incredibly exciting time in music during the mid-1960s when a huge wave of rock and pop bands and artists from the United Kingdom became wildly popular all over the world, especially in the United States. Think of it like a musical takeover! Defined by “American roots with British style, the heavy beat, guitar driven electric riffs, harmonies, a variety of sounds, fashion, and attitude.” From songs like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles, "Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones, or "My Generation" by The Who, it was a cultural phenomenon. And the TrueTones bring that sense of culture and musical exploration with every performance.
