Get ready for an unforgettable night of music and celebration as Green Shoebox Band returns to the Aztec Shawnee Theater! After our SOLD OUT show in November 2023, which was a true highlight, we are thrilled to be back for another incredible evening.
Join us on June 14th for a special night of celebration! We'll be marking Flag Day, as well as honoring RLo and Stan's Birthdays. It's going to be a night filled with music, memories, and good vibes! We will be introducing some new songs and our amazing Saxophonist, Dennis Carnahan, will open the show again with a new set of jams that you won't want to miss!
About Green Shoebox Band
Green Shoebox Band is a group of musician friends that enjoy sharing a wide variety of music from the 60s through the 2000s. Our live performances have included events for the cities of Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Merriam, Eudora, Old Shawnee Days, and Wellsville Days, the VIP pre-show at Starlight Theater before the Doobie Brothers (2023) and James Taylor (2024), KC United Art Festival, Aztec Shawnee Theater, and interviews on KKFI Radio 90.1 FM “Local Showcase” and Kansas City Limits, as well as many popular music venues and private events around the Kansas City area.
Sharing music is our passion, especially when we get to spend time with a great friends playing music everyone loves. Our members have recorded and played in various bands around the country and overseas. Stan Adell and R.Lorraine Taylor-Wheaton (RLo) played together with Last Chance Flight (LCF or Larry Campbell & Friends) for many years. Green Shoebox Band was then formed in 2019 and we have added new friends and instrumentation to develop our unique sound.
