Darren Denney
Darren Denney is a local alternative rock singer/songwriter who has performed live for over 25 years. His music is a crossroads of some of the artists who have inspired him the most: The Foo Fighters meets Incubus meets Death Cab for Cutie. A DD live show is guaranteed to deliver older original songs, newer original songs, and some surprise cover songs during the set.
BC Homegrown
BC Homegrown is made up of seasoned musicians from the St. Louis metro area. They write and perform all original music, styled after a blend of Rock, Southern Rock, Bluegrass, Americana and Blues.
Venue seating
The auditorium has 186 seats, including 104 general admission theater seats, 26 reserved theater seats, and 56 seats at 15 different tables.
Food and Beverage options INCLUDING A FULL BAR
Our full bar includes domestic & craft beer, as well as a full selection of alcohol and specialty drinks. Soft drinks, popcorn, and snacks are also available at the bar, and outside food from the local downtown Shawnee restaurants and grills can be brought into the venue (we love helping to support our businesses friends in downtown Shawnee). No outside drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are allowed in the venue.
What we offer our patrons
The Aztec Shawnee Theater has NO advanced ticketing fees!! The price you see online is the price you pay! Ticket pricing does increase the day of the show. Tables with seats that include admission to the venue are available (while supplies last) either in the VIP section, or near the front of the stage.
