Enjoy this iconic 1938 film version of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, hosted by Shawnee Town 1929 Museum. Shown on the historic 1927 Aztec Shawnee Theater’s silver screen.
Cocktails, beverages, and snacks will be available. Food truck purchases can also be brought inside. Friends of Shawnee Town 1929 are free with pre–registration by calling (913) 248–2360.
A Christmas Carol: In one haunted evening, embittered old miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who has soured on the world and his fellowman, learns the true spirit of Christmas from three ghostly visitors. After moving visions of long-dead happiness, of past and present remorse and a fearful glimpse into the future, Scrooge receives the chance to change his life for the better on Christmas morning.
